Match Staff
Meet the core members of the Crawfish Cup Regional & State Championships team. Our volunteers work to make the Crawfish Cup an awesome experience for each and every one of our competitors!
GEORGE MOWBRAY
Match Director
George started the Action Pistol Discipline at the Southwest Louisiana Rifle & Pistol Club in 1987 and competed in the Bianchi Cup for the first time in 1991. Since that time, he has been hooked on Action Pistol competition, competing in the Bianchi Cup almost every year. George had a goal to upgrade the Club's ranges in an attempt to duplicate the quality of the Bianchi Cup ranges, and the result has been an Action Pistol range comparable to any in the country. Our club used to alternate holding Regional Championships with an Action Pistol club in Mississippi, but in 2011, when that club could no longer continue holding Regionals due to a lack of manpower, the Crawfish Cup was born. Held approximately four and a half weeks before the Bianchi Cup, the Crawfish Cup is the first major Action Pistol match of the year and has become a very popular event for many of the competitors attending the Bianchi Cup.
